The Moderne is Milwaukee's newest condo and the first in the Park East area. It's a great location now and in the next 5 years there will be a lot to do within 2 blocks. For new construction with a view of the lake in that level of condominium, $440 a sqft isn't bad. It is higher than the $290-$320 for the river views and higher than $325-$375 for the lake views, but for that new construction feel and one of the nicest condos in the city that might be the price you have to pay.
For $109,000 in a very young building, you shouldn't be expecting much, but this 1 bedroom apartment unit in the Park Shore will impress you. Located 2 minutes from the Howard exit on the Lake Parkway, this condo association has a convenient location. did i mention that it's next to the lake... whit a swimming beach... clubhoues and athletic facility. If you're looking in this price range, you should see this unit.
For a couple different reasons it's rare that condos over $500,000 go into foreclosure, short sale or become bank owned. That's why this condo at Commission house priced at $624,000 is rare. It's over 2700 sqft with three parking spots and is in the best location in the Third ward. Make an Offer; this condo will sell at some price relatively fast- the bank wants it's money.!..!
The Fenwick on Prospect Avenue just north of Ogden has a great location on the east side with walking to all that the east side offers. Only this unit is 640 sqft which is small, but big enough for one cozy room and a full bedroom and full bath and mini kitchen. This isn't for someone who wants a large condo,w/ 2 parking spots this will go quick...
601 lofts is one of Milwaukee's great condos. the location is great with almost everything you need within 1 block walk. There is only one property currently for sale in the building and it's a 1 bedroom with a den. Other similar floor-plans close off this open den and make it into a second bedroom. this will definitely sell quick.
Not many bank owned condos make it to the market in the prospect ave area but this 1 bedroom at the Regency House is a deal. there is also another 1 bedroom condo in that building that is a great deal with a view of Lake Michigan. Of course with distressed assets a preapproval or proof of funds is critical. Give a call if you have some interest.
